The model 3689-A Precision Pressure Standard system is based on a digital pressure transfer standard that is unmatched in the industry for its accuracy: ± 0.025% IV (Indicated Value). Auto-ranging circuitry enables step-less readings from vacuum to 10,000 psi without input from the operator, preventing damage to the instrument due to the over-pressurization of the transducers. The Model 3689-A Precision Pressure Standard displays direct reading measurements using a wide range of units, including psi, in-Hg, kPa, bar, in-H20, and ft./seawater. Three measurement modes are available: absolute mode, gauge mode, and vacuum mode.

The Model 3689-A Precision Pressure Standard System is ideal for the calibration of dial pressure gauges and digital pressure measurement devices. The system is also used to calibrate the KNC Model 3666 Automatic Pressure Calibration System. A microprocessor control and front panel display prompts the operator through the calibration and standardization process and performs the necessary calculations, saving time and effort. An integral IEEE-488/GPIB interface enables automated calibration and standardization of the KNC Model 3666 system and can be used to transmit data to a remote computer. A built-in printer conveniently generates permanent records of measurement data. The pressure standard system also includes a liquid trap, a kit containing 12 male and female quick-disconnect adapters from 1/8 to 1/2-inch diameter, a MIL-I-18997C adapter, and a packing kit containing back-up rings, seals and other supplies necessary for field maintenance of the pressure standard and liquid trap.

The Model 3112 Portable Live Pressure Calibration and Test System is a compact, completely self-contained unit designed for calibrating and testing pressure gauges, transducers, pressure switches, and other pressure-sensitive instruments up to 2,000 psi with an accuracy of ±0.5% of full scale. Two large, legible gauges, reading from 0 to 100 psig and 0 to 2,000 psig respectively, and controlled by an automatic transfer valve, permit precise stepless measurements over the entire range of the system. An internal nitrogen cylinder with a capacity of 90 cubic inches (7.1 std. cubic feet when charged at 2,250 psi at 70°F), permits the Model 3112 Portable Live Pressure Calibration and Test System to be easily transported to remote locations—no external gas or power sources are required. The cylinder can be charged using any available high pressure nitrogen source, and is wire-wound for protection against impact. The Model 3712 is a portable, self-contained pressure calibrator with the capability to calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic pressure gauges by comparison with reference master gauges. The pressure is manually generated through the use of hand pump and hydraulic oil is used as the pressure medium. Test gauges that are filled with oil can be installed directly onto the calibrator. For applications where the test gauge contains a different type of fluid, such as water, a fluid separator is installed to act as a physical barrier between the two fluids.

A fill and drain system is also provided to fill pneumatic or liquid gauges prior to installing the gauge on the calibrator. After completion of the calibration, the fill and drain system can be used to flush and dry the gauge. The fill and drain system can be operated electrically or manually.

The calibrator consists of a pressure hand pump assembly, a set of master pressure gauges, fill and drain assembly, fluid separators, hand vacuum pump, electrically operated vacuum pump, and test gauge adapters.

Designed to test piston-actuated gauges, inflater assemblies, and inflater assembly gauge elements in two basic ranges, 10 to 150psig and 50 to 606 psig, the Model 3665 is housed in a cabinet for bench-top operation with all controls and indicators mounted on the front panel. The method of calibration is by direct comparison of the test item indication with the higher accuracy reference standard gauges of the calibrator.

The calibrator includes a charging valve with an integral relief valve, a feeder hose, a supply hose, and fittings for adapting inflater assembly gauge elements to the charging valve coupling.

The reference standard gauges are precision, 6-inch diameter gauges with mirrored dials. Each gauge is protected against over- pressurization by gauge savers. As additional protection, the low-range gauge pressure circuit includes a pressure-switch actuated solenoid valve, and the high-range gauge pressure circuit includes a pressure relief valve as an integral part of the charging valve. An internal plenum chamber is mounted in the cabinet. The plenum chamber is an aluminum cylinder with a volume of 172 cubic inches. The chamber simulates the volume of a typical tire, strut, or accumulator.

The calibrator is designed to operate from an external source of dry nitrogen or clean, dry air at a maximum inlet pressure of 3000 psig.

The ADC-2550V3 is a high-accuracy air data management system capable of controlling and measuring Altitude and Airspeed pressures to the highest degree of accuracy. The control and measurement range of the test system meets or exceeds most requirements for commercial and military test applications.

The ADC utilizes two digi-quartz absolute pressure transducers which provide unmatched accuracy and long-term stability. An expansive 10.4-inch glass PCAP touchscreen display allows the operator control the calibrator directly from the front panel. The intuitive graphical user interface features easily accessible modes of operation, including: Measure, Control, Leak Test, Test Program (capable of programming test sequences), Remote and Calibration. The ADC features several interfaces, including RS-232, IEEE-488.2 (for remote operation), VGA, USB2.0 (3x) and RJ-45.

The ADC is designed with hardware and software features for maximum protection to the operator and unit under test (UUT). The calibrator features input pressure regulation, over-range, over-limit and over-pressurization protection. Micro-porous filters and screening prevent debris from contaminating the system. The calibrator is equipped with pressure relief valves to protect the pneumatic system components and the UUT from damage. In the event that the calibrator loses power, internal vent valves and a front panel manual vent can be used to safely vent to ambient. Test Program mode allows the operator to create a virtually unlimited number of test routines for semi-automated testing and report generation, saving time and providing improved test consistency.

The ADC can be calibrated using a Primary Pressure Standard that will cover the full range (ADCS601, Dead Weight, Schwien).

ADTS-1555 Air Data Test Set
The ADTS-1555 is a high-precision Air Data Test Set that can be used as to generate and measure Pitot and Static pressures. The ADC-2522 is designed for rackmount use and features a large 10.4″ display with resistive touchscreen. The calibrator has the ability to emulate the Sperry / Honeywell ADT-222B IEEE-488-1975 communications. This allows the calibrator to be a plug and play replacement for the aging Honeywell ADT-222A, ADT-222B and ADT-222C Air Data Test Systems, without the expense in having to modify existing communication protocols or software.
