The Young and the Restless (Y&R) is an American television soap opera created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. The show is set in a fictionalized version of Genoa City, Wisconsin. First broadcast on March 26, 1973, The Young and the Restless was originally broadcast as half-hour episodes, five times a week. The show expanded to one-hour episodes on February 4, 1980. Nick wanted Summer to join the family for dinner. She had plans with Theo. She wondered if Chelsea was going to the dinner. He felt that Adam wass going use Connor to get to Chelsea. Nick refused to let him comfort her anymore. Phyllis went to see Adam. He wanted her to apologize to Chance for the way he treated him. She wasn’t impressed. She felt bad for Adam for being treated like an outcast. asked her about Summer and she told him she was with. Phyllis felt Chelsea should have be the one investigated and not her. Adam and Phyllis continued to talk. He said he was done with plotting and she said she was done too. Rey and Sharon prepared for Thanksgiving. She needed the distraction since her kids were gone. People started to come there for dinner. Nate arrived and Elena and Mariah made fun of him for not having a date…until Amanda arrived.
 
Nate thanked Amanda for helping him continue to practice medicine. He asked her about her about her family. She quickly let him know that she wasn’t close to her family. Elena shared with Mariah that Amanda was a snake.

Amanda went to mingle. Nate met up with Elena. Nate told her that Amanda was staying in town and she wasn’t happy about it. She thought Amanda wss using him. The Newmans had a Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Victor hoped Chelsea would bring Connor. Nikki let him know that the decision was completely Chelsea’s. Victoria and Billy showed up with the kids. Nick and Chelsea arrived with the kids. Nikki told everyone about going to Switzerland. Chelsea and Nick looked uncomfortable and left they walked out of the room. Later the family said what they were thankful for.
